I choose RRR for my wife, first because Dr. Burks, MD has been our PCP for many years and I knew with him and Laura Allen, NP seeing for her that she was in good hands medically. Second, we choose to stay at RRR because from day one, the staff showed their love, compassion, and dedication to my wife and my family. I see the staff go above and beyond to care for my wife. If there is a concern, it is taken care of as soon a possible.
The staff here are always there for me when I need them. Always a smiling face to make me laugh or smile. Also, I LOVE the food, activities, and friendships I have made.
RRR has been my home for several years and I cannot imagine my life any different. I love the staff and other Elders here at RRR. I am a people person and I just fit in here!
Working at RRR gives me the opportunity to work with a great team. I enjoy working with the Elders and getting to know them and their families.
RRR has been home for my family member for many years. I love that I see so many people that care about each other and the patients. If I have a concern or problem, they are there to listen and help when we need them.
I have been in LTC since 1973. I started as an orderly back when we could pass medications. From there, I was put in charge of maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry. Since RRR was built on the location it is now, I have worked in housekeeping, laundry and remain as Maintenance Supervisor. The reason I continue to work is because this is my family. I care for the Elders and Staff and want to meet their need.
I am a Veteran and after a hospital stay, RRR was suggested for my therapy. I was here and the staff and therapy department went above and beyond to take care of me and rehabilitate me so that I could return home. I have recently had another hospital stay and chose to return to RRR to receive therapy and would not choose anywhere else. I enjoy the staff and visiting with others while I am here.
I love my job and taking care of others. I have worked here at RRR for many years and they are my extended family. I cannot imagine working anywhere else.
I have been a CNA at RRR for 14 years. This is my family and I love my patients. If I ever left, that is what I would miss the most.
